2011 will be a rather memorable year for me, as it was also the year where I did many things for the first time!
Highlights of the year included:
1) Watched my first full-length concert in Indoor Stadium. (For Rock Records’ 30th Anniversary concert.)
2) Wore a dress out for the whole day. On the first day of CNY. And never looked back.
3) Did a 20km cycling event. I won’t be taking part in the 2012 edition though, cos I don’t own a bicycle, and I don’t feel confident enough to cover the 39km route on a rented bicycle.
4) First time voting in GE and PE.
6) First time attending NDP on the actual day as an audience. The last time I participated in NDP was in 2005 as part of the handsigning contingent sitting at Marina South. I’ve got a letter of participation for breaking some record ok! =p
7) First 10km running event, and did quite badly for it. I’ve currently signed up for another 2 more in 2012. Aiming to complete at least 4 10km runs in 2012 before I attempt 21km in 2013. Ambitious, I know, but…we do need such dreams in order to motivate ourselves right? ^^
8) First photos with uber hot, topless guys in front of A&F. Muahahahahaha! Concessions of having a workplace near Orchard Road. =D
9) Not forgetting my beloved iPod Touch. =)
10) Bro’s commissioning parade!
11) Batam ODT with the colleagues.
Thank you 2011. You’ve treated me waaaaay better then 2010 did. 2012, it’s on to you now. I hope more firsts will come soon. =)
